Happy New Year!! We hope you all had a wonderful New Year's Eve celebration. Sara and I had some delicious sushi and wine. Both the sushi restaurant and the wine bar that we went to just opened up within the last few months in our old neighborhood. They are just across the road from our old apartment, that is. We wish they had opened up in our new neighborhood, but oh well. Afterwards, we retired back to the house with a bottle of prosecco. It was a lovely evening.
Tonight, Sara made her second ciabatta from scratch. The first was absolutely FABULOUS and this one looks great also. The recipe came courtesy of Koji's Kitchen, of course. Here's a pic:
