Our underground sprinkler system used to water our garden pretty well. But now, the wall of Monstermatoes blocks out water to signficant areas of the garden. And Sara use to water the whole garden with a hose every evening. Since we can't always rely on that, we changed out one of the sprinkler heads for a manifold that allows us to run drip lines to the garden.

It wasn't so easy to run the drip line through the thickest sections of the jungle, er garden. But, hopefully it will keep things growing!

Here's a picture of our attempt to make the small back patio more functional. A little rearranging and we added a bench and some fun little lanterns. Summer good. Oh, this picture is about a week old. We now also have a small side table next to the bench...

Thanks to Koji's Kitchen for her advice on how to get updates of the family blogs onto our blog! Very handy. It's about time our blog got a makeover too!

I like the new looks -- blog, patio AND Monstertomatoes! Yipes! I certainly hope the tomatoes themselves aren't as monstrous as the plants.
The drip line is excellent. Hope it keeps everything nicely hydrated
Looks very nice!
