This past week we had our first over-night visitors! Romel, Grace & Maya were able to come out for a week between teaching finishing for the year for Grace and before Romel's internship started! We had a super visit and got to show them around Eugene, the OR coast, a little bit in Portland, and even Seattle. It was the first time in WA for everyone but me. We went to the top of the Space Needle and saw fish being tossed at Pikes Market. Overall, the best part was just having some family close again! My brother & Diane will be here in Sept. for the Cal vs. OR football game. But, other than that, our plans our open. So, since our house is now broken in, let us know if your travel plans include OR!
This is a title. It's important.

Not to be picky, but WE were your first overnight visitors... just not your HOUSE'S first overnight visitors!!
I'm glad you had so much fun!!
Yes, you are quite right that YOU were the very first overnight guests.
And for the record, the designation for first doggie overnight guest is still up for grabs.
I drool a lot, is that close enough?
Do you circle the bed 3 times before laying down?
Only when I'm really tired. And for the record, we also visited and were overnight guests.
I guess coming from California doesn't count...
Well, let's be fair: Romel etal were the first overnight visitors to arrive via air. All of the California contingents drove, which is, admittedly, boring and unworthy of a blog post.
Nevertheless, I think we could hold our own in a mess-up-the-Vizcaino's-kitchen-by-cooking-everything-known-to-man-at-one-meal contest... although the skirt steak & oyester extravaganza looks hard to beat in that regard!
come one
come all
by air
or by plane
we shall cook
and eat
and if you're worthy
we'll blog about
your visit
By air OR by plane?
Evidently cars are an option. His air comment must be referring to the ever popular catapult!
Happy travels!
Koji's on board with the catapult, as long as real cats are involved!
It's so pretty! Can't wait to see you for the Cal game! Steve only drools for pie, so he's easily managed.
