I went water skiing today at Fall Creek Lake in nearby Lowell. This is a yearly trip with a co-worker of mine and last year was my first time ever water skiing. (There's not much water skiing action where I grew up.) Anyway, this year we have some video footage. Not the best picture quality, but you get the drift...

That wasn't a very spectacular wipeout, city boy. But quite a nice lake! How many people were there?
There were four of us on the boat. And I was the only one under 50!
Later on I did have some better wipeouts. Turns out I found a new way to clear my sinuses during allergy season: faceplant into a lake traveling about 25 mph! It felt like I had a few liters of water shoot up my nose. Too bad we didn't get that one on video.
I love the commentary!
Pretty lake!!!! What time of day were you out there? It was so clear and still, except for your wakes and face-plants, of course.
We arrived at the lake at around 7:30AM. It was great. Calm & quiet. It felt like we had the place to our selves for a few hours. But then around noon more boats started to come out. It was never very crowded though. That's one thing that I really appreciate about Oregon. You can go to really great places and not be mobbed by a crowd!
