You say it's your birthday.....

It's Davey's birthday too!! Dave's birthday started a few weeks back. Partly because I cannot have a gift for him without giving it to him right then! And partly because we've had visitors that also started the birthday celebrations early. First my sister & her husband were here and we had homemade eggplant parm! If you haven't had the opportunity to eat out with Dave, he orders eggplant anything, but eggplant parm is probably his favorite! This past weekend Dave's cousin and her husband were here at the start of their drive down the west coast to San Francisco. They brought birthday goodies, cards, and well wishes from the East Coast. Now today is his birthday. Clearly, not the best date to have a birthday any longer. But, a few years back we decided we couldn't get caught up in the 9/11 reflection ... for us, this has to be Davey's birthday. So, Happy Birthday to you!
