Here are some photos of the House!

Sara and I really like the neighborhood. Admittedly, it is a bit more "suburbia" than we ever thought we'd end up in already. But, it's a really good neighborhood. We really like the house. It was priced well for us. And we think that the re-sale value should be good. We are really excited, anyway! Please click on the pic to see the bigger version.

Hi,
I happened upon your site. Love the decor of your house. Nice clean lines and minimalist while having a cosy feel. At least the wetlands behind your house give you a feel of not being too suburbia. As for us, we've never lived in the US. We enjoy living in small town New Zealand on half an acre which backs onto a farm. Happy Oregon living!

Thanks to word imp for posting to our blog and for your comments as well. Actually, we can't take credit for the decor though. We just bought this house (signed papers anyway) and don't move in for another 30 days. I figured the present owners wouldn't mind the pictures, seeing as though they are up on no fewer than 50 real estate sights here in Oregon. Anyway, we liked the decor too though. :) I grew up a city boy, but the quiet and more open spaces are surely growing on me. Your home in New Zealand sounds beautiful.

I never heard what the food choices are in the new hood. Anything good?

We haven't really prowled around much. From the main street we say some Pizza Places, which will serve the normal PLF. Dave said he saw a Mexican place, but I don't know what it looked like. Nothing will ever compare to Brooklyn! And we even managed get sick of stuff there!

How's your teeth, BTW?

PLF is Davey's acronym for Pizza-Like-Food. He definitely has strict standards for pizza ... and many things don't make it. But, there are things that are round, made with melted cheese, and that ary yummy ... but they are not quite pizza. So, thus, the PLF. We eat PLF quite often and enjoy it a lot, but it still cannot be called pizza!

Oh, my teeth are okay! Thanks for asking. I spoke to my oral surgeon today and he didn't think I did anything that fractured the jaw bone. He thinks my bite is moving slightly b/c of the new space and that I should make an appt. with my regular dentist. It's time for my 6-month check up in Nov., so now I am set up for 11/15. Except seeing her is how all of this crap started! Maybe I should rethink this!
