With a break from baseball today, we headed out on a hike. The fall has been beautiful and the trees are starting to turn colors. Don't worry, Dave will have plenty of more Mets postings ... as long as they keep winning!
Hello from Oregon! We hope to use this space to stay a little closer to all our family and friends. It's a little experiment... kinda like everything else...

I'm jealous of your hike. Our fall is lovely, but NOTHING like yours!
OK, that's just drop dead gorgeous! Are you still eating only soft food, Sara? If so, is it possible to stay sane? Yes, this is Diane, aka annonymous.
You can tell by the way she spells it!
Also, who said Sara was sane to begin with?
That's just mean! Probably true though! Saw the oral surgeon today. The stuff he removed was benign, but he said that he'd never seen it before. Good that it wasn't cancer, but no cool that he's never seen it before. He wants me back in 6 months for follow up xrays. As for the soft food - 3 down & 3 to go! Play nice!
So, for Thanksgiving, I give you a big plate of mash potatoes! You can eat the inners of the pumpkin pie, too. And whipped cream! I'm so glad it's not cancer. And so what that he hasn't seen it before? We know you Elliott's are odd. At least he didn't call you a freak, like the heart doc at Stanford called your brother. Or did he?
Darn. I have a typo in my last posting. Good thing I'm anonymous.
So what did he find? A Volkswagon? Taco sauce packets?
It was Waldo.
Luckily by Turkey Day I can actually eat turkey! Which is good b/c I think the innards of pumpkins are nasty! The day I can eat real food again is 11/3! Three weeks down and three weeks to go! Turns out six weeks is long!
Should I be disturbed that i've been kissing Waldo? -d
