Daytime TV sucks!

It's Sara and I'm home from work on a Friday because I had dental surgery today. I was very anxious about it, but it has gone very smoothly so far. The deal is my tooth was perfectly healthy, but there was an infection in the gum and jaw area underneath it. So, now I've lost a tooth and hopefully the ick that was living below it! I could definitely come up with about a million fun things to do on a Friday off from work. However, getting up for a 6:20am surgery appt is not one of them! I was also nervous about feeling really out of it after the surgery or b/c of the pain meds. So, far the pain hasn't been bad and the woozy feeling wore off pretty quickly. Because of the jaw being involved there are some added things to worry about in the coming weeks. So, I will be on a soft diet for 4-6 wks because fractures in the jaw bone can occur. The worst part of today is turning out to be daytime TV programming! I had some programs saved up on our DVR, but those ran out hours ago! I really think that people that stay at home during the day should revolt! I hope everyone's Friday is going well and your not stuck at home watching TV! Have a great weekend and we miss you all - S

What?? You weren't thrilled to know the contents of Oprah's purse?

My theory is that those people who live in the middle states (who seem to be the ones who are home during the day) have such dull lives that whatever they put on daytime TV is more exciting. It's not their fault their lives are dull; I mean, there's not much you can do to make North Dakota a swinging hot spot.

And now, to prove that those of us on the coasts have much more exciting lives, I'm going to go water the plants and then walk the dog. And then I'm going to check out the contents of my purse. Woo hoo.

(P.S. We're very glad everything went so well, and that you have enough green jello to start your own Green Jello Cafe).

I can top your excitment ... I'm getting my hair cut today. I think I'm having them take about 2 inches off. It's been bothering me. Dave's also got exciting errands and is out getting the oil changed. How much more exciting can you get than that?! I'll talk to you later no doubt. - S
