This year we did not go to a tree farm and cut down our own. Instead, we went the less time-intensive and less-$ route and got a Douglas Fir from a tree lot about 1 mile from out house. Even though we now have a house and lots of places to store stuff, we have limited our xmas stuff to one large bin. We did add some small red ornaments this year, but they easily fit into the space allotted. In the bin we've got a wreath holder and we added some fun red star lights over the summer, which make up the total of our outdoor decorations. Okay, not exactly - we do have a wreath on the wreath holder. Inside, we've got a wooden snowman wall hangy-thingy, 2 stocking holders, 2 stockings, 3 strands of white lights, tree stand (that we allow to live outside of the bin b/c he'd basically take up the whole inside!), ornaments and a tree topper. That's our Christmas. It might not be much, but we both really love everything we have and also really love not having more! Hope everyone is having a great holiday season!
This is a title. It's important.

Oh, your tree is so cute. It looks very festive!!!
Very pretty, and a swanky tree skirt!
It's nice enough, I guess, but what about the Obama-Man Tree Topper???
I don't think Dave wanted to deface his "Action Figure That You Can Believe In" in that way!
But, we could probably fashion it into an ornament ... Elliot Logic's got to come in handy for something!
