Speedy service and a refund

So, by not having children and (until recently) not owning a home we had limited our tax deduction options. And for that, we have paid every April. We bought the house in late November 2006, but it was too late in the year to actually make any mortgage payments, etc. So, we paid again in April 2007.

This year is a whole new year. We did our taxes earlier because we figured we were getting a refund. We itemized our deductions for the first time. We used Turbo Tax for the second time and e-filed for the first time. We got our refund from the state deposited in our bank account in 5 days. It was supposed to be on the 22nd that we'd get the federal refund. Turns out the deposited 3 days early - for total time of about 10 days to get the refund.

Not bad service.
