Then we purchased a new patio table and chairs. The table in the pic is 1/2 of its full size. It does this slidy thing and grows to 2 times it's size.
We did get a new bbq, but haven't gotten it assembled yet. Lucky you ... no bbq pic! But, never fear, we still had time so we also put up some kitchen cabinets in our garage that Dave got from a remodel job.
We lead exciting lives, right?! We did end the weekend with a yummy dinner from a winery nearby. We'll have to take you all there when you come to visit.

I'm just showing you other shiny pictures to keep everyone from seeing our back lawn. We've got some weird brown patches that a took a rake to. Now we have some brown bald patches! We'll see if the seed stuff we put out there this past weekend does anything! The organic food we put on the front lawn really seems to be helping. We took pics last weekend to remind ourselves and again this weekend. Far less brown and more green. Seems good in a lawn!

I was at school all day trying to get issue 3 done and I leave right around 4:15 and know it's going to be right at 5 when I get to the post office. This was going to be my first relaxing night in about two weeks, and I'd ordered a five pack of very nice cigars and hoped they would come in the mail.
So I get to the post office about 5:02 but the flag is still flying and I rush to my box and get the mail and there is a package slip and I rush to the office door right as the lady was closing the blinds but she let me in and brought my package and I came home and opened all the other mail first, savoring the package for last and then I open it and it's a 12 x 18 print of the googley-eyed horse.

My husband is so proud of himself!! I gotta say, his idea really made me laugh! I hope you don't try to smoke it instead! I'll give you a call over the weekend.
