Brief Road Trip

Southeast of Eugene on OR-58... near the town of Lowell are countless great spots for hiking and fishing. We took these pictures today. Even in the middle of winter, the forest is so green here. The moss on the trees is eerily beautiful... We would have continued further into the forest to see some 300-foot tall douglas firs, but the weather was not on our side today. We'll go back soon. We have a huge to-do list for spring and summer! Posted by Picasa

Fine, so you have beautiful forests and nice moss. Whatever. It was 85 degrees here today.

But we still wish we were there!
