We all had the day off on Sunday. So, we packed up the car and headed to the coast for the first time with Molly. She was VERY excited. The forecast had been for light rain pretty much all day. It did rain for the whole drive to Florence. But, just as we arrived on the beach the sky cleared up. We were greeted by a beautiful rainbow. It was perfect. We brought the 15 foot leash with us. And Molly got to enjoy it finally. We all ran around like a bunch of fools. Molly's sprints wore us all out, dog included! We wondered how much Molly would want to get wet. We've heard labs like water, so we kind of braced for the worst. :) But, she ran up to the water and then ran away from the waves! Apparently, she wasn't too much interested in getting wet! Molly had a great time! She really, really enjoyed herself. She did bark quite a bit at the other dogs that we saw, but we are working on that. We can't wait to take her back.

What a pretty girl, she is. (You, too, Sara.) Those photos are gorgeous.
Very nice! You might find her attitude to water different at a lake. Gus's is, anyway. Loves to swim, but ocean waves were big and scary.
Or she might be like Koji and deeply resent water of any type...
Hi it Kristin, Molly is so cute!! I wish I could meet her. My Sam was a lab and didn't like the ocean at all however he absolutely loved the hose.
She is such a cutie!

I would love to see Molly jump in a lake one day. I can't wait till we do that. The hose may happen a lot sooner!
She seems to like water OK. We gave her her first bath and she didn't complain at all. She did great!
