Finally, a three day weekend! The last week or so has been very rainy here in Eugene. But, today was spectacular. Sunny and cool. There are many wineries within a 30-40 minute drive of us. Today we checked out the biggest one, King Estate. It was a beautiful setting. Wine was yummy. We bought a bottle of 2004 Pinot Noir. Pinot Noir and Pinot Gris are really big around these parts. Neither of us plays the part of the wine snob very well. But, we'll try a sip of free wine anyday!

The pix are beautiful (especially Sara), but the sucking up is pitiful!
I think they should combine your last 2 outings -- steep uphill hiking with tasty wine at the top. Of course, it is on a scary cliff, so booze might not be the best idea. I guess I shouldn't go into tourism.
I think if you had a hike, some wine, and then a slide down that would be perfect.
I am not a horrible suck up.
No, as suck ups go, you're one of the better ones!
